Letters to June, #20

Dear June,

It’s currently 6:23PM. Outside, the sky is actually a “sky blue” color. It’s 78 degrees, mostly clear of clouds. The sun is still out and won’t set for until another 40 minutes. But it’ll still be bright for several minutes after.

I kind of wish I was on the Mainland, more specifically in Washington. Where the sun doesn’t set until like 8:30 or 9PM. It does make everything else a bit off, but everything is still so beautiful and bright and you feel like there’s a lot of time left because the sun is still out and so should you be too. To me, that’s the definition of summer.

And you know what today is June? It’s the first day summer. Officially.

So I’m officially being like a generic high school yearbook comment and saying “have a great summer.”

I’ll write to you soon.

Love and all the good things,
