Letters to June, #12

Dear June,

I usually work on Mondays but today was a state holiday so I decided to have a me day today. It was really nice.

I went thrifting for a few hours. Yes June, I said hours. I like to take my time and look through everything, just in case. But honestly, towards the end I was feeling a bit tired so I wasn’t as thorough and just looked over the racks. And then I try on the clothes, which takes a while too because I gathered so much things. And I didn’t get a chance to look through the men’s section, which I wanted to. Ahh, maybe next time. Then my sister met up with me thrifting.

Then after that we went to Target. I bought things I needed (and things I really didn’t need.)

Then we went to McDonald’s and got our free Frappé. I know McDonald’s isn’t the best food but free is free. Can’t beat that.

Then I went to the bank before heading home.

Golden State Warriors won.

And then at night we went to an Indian restaurant for an early celebratory anniversary dinner for my brother and sister-in-law. I don’t eat Indian food a lot, it’s not my go-to cuisine. But I really liked the curry I got. And I really like naan bread.

Pretty good day altogether. I spent a lot of money though. About $200. Yikes. But what’s working hard to earn money if you don’t spend it, right June? I actually don’t spend a lot too much. At least I don’t think so. I hope I don’t.

Anyway, how was your day?

Love and all the good things,

Lar
