POW, #7 – Forgotten

Until I saw a story of this building in the newspaper, I’d forgotten all about it. I’ve always wondered what it was and why it was the only one still standing after these years without use.

I think it used to be part of the old airport but now it’s just there in the middle of sugarcane fields. The graffiti along the walls is different from when I last saw it. Now it has a list of people still missing here that also says “never give up”.

This building may look abandoned, but it’s not really abandoned in the whole sense. People still take notice of this lone building, and people are using it to send messages.
